SSG CORNWALL
Asbestos Awareness (UKATA)

Details
This half-day Asbestos course will teach delegates to work safely with asbestos and ensure theirs and their colleagues’ safety. Under Regulation 10 of the Control of Asbestos Regulations, it is a mandatory requirement for all those liable to be exposed to asbestos, or who supervise or manage such employees, to be trained.
Delegates will be assessed through a multiple-choice assessment and certification will be provided on successful completion of the course. This certificate is valid for one year as UKATA requires delegates to attend annual refresher training.
Please note, this course does not train you to work with Asbestos-Containing Materials (ACMs).

SSG CORNWALL
UKATA Non-Licensed Asbestos Operative

Details
SSG offer this one-day UKATA course to train delegates who are, or are liable to be, exposed to asbestos or those who supervise or manage such employees.
Delegates will be assessed through a written assessment as well as their input during the practical exercise and their feedback. Certification will be provided on successful completion of the course, which is valid for one year. UKATA requires delegates to attend annual refresher training.
