GEORGINA MAY
Managing Director

Meet Georgina May – founder of Venton Ltd. A proper Cornish girl, Georgina grew up in St Austell and has been blissfully situated near the city of Truro ever since. With extensive experience in her field, she started her journey after completing her AAT and NVQs in Business and Payroll and cutting her teeth at a well-established Truro accountancy firm.
But, as a passionate and driven businesswoman, it was in 2014 that she was inspired to start her own business – cue the launch of Venton Accounts. Five years later, with a book of dedicated clients and a hunger to expand, Georgina decided to realise her next dream – a creative space to help people run inspiring events. Today, she is thrilled to have launched the Venton Conference Centre, a state-of-the-art facility just seconds from the A30.
Over this time, she has loved watching her clients’ businesses grow, thanks to her unwavering philosophy that, while anyone can enter data, it is how you use that data afterwards that is the key.
When she is not in the office, though, Georgina can usually be found walking the Cornish coast path with her two working cocker spaniels, Willow and Luna. Drop by the Venton office and say hello – they love a good cuddle!
LUCY TABB

After completing her A – Levels, Lucy went on to complete her AAT with Truro and Penwith College and finished Level 4 in 2021.
Lucy started an apprenticeship in accountancy and never looked back. The apprenticeship kick started Lucy’s career and over the years, she has developed a wealth of skills, knowledge and experience with local accountancy businesses. Lucy now overseas our accounts team, clients and business finances with the support of Georgina and Sophie.
When Lucy isn’t helping her clients with their accounts, she is part of the St Enoder Tug of War team and also a member of St Columb Young Farmers.
